The management of Municipal Solid Waste is one of the major environmental challenges for developing countries like India. The purpose of this paper is to discuss the usage of Municipal Solid Waste as alternate fuel in cement industry, there by addressing dual challenge of waste management and fossil fuel consumption in cement industry.
