Among various cooling sectors, the ICAP places priority on the development of the refrigeration and air-conditioning (RAC) servicing sector. More specifically, standardisation of training and a skill certification were identified as two immediate steps to be taken for developing the servicing sector. In this brief with a focus on India’s servicing sector training landscape, we explore how training curricula could be standardised by adopting a common code, the National Occupational Standards(NOS).
