This study quantifies the impact of the ECBC at the state and city levels. It demonstrates the use of spatial distribution based on GIS applications, building energy simulations as well as literature resources in determining and estimating the energy consumption of a building. Based on this, the study derives the energy consumption at the building level is derived, following which the energy performance at the city level is projected and identified.
