To accelerate the uptake of rooftop solar solutions, Shakti supported the development of a Web-based GIS tool to assist customers, developers and local authorities to determine rooftop potential at a specific location. The tool, developed in association with the Chandigarh Renewal Energy Science and Technology Promotion Society has been piloted in Chandigarh. It has helped to educate users about the benefits, costs and savings associated with solar PV.
