Tackling the rise in global anthropogenic greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions requires action by all stakeholders, including corporate players. The majority of global GHG emissions are directly or indirectly influenced by the corporate sector and therefore, companies have a pivotal role in ensuring that the Nationally Determined Contributions of countries are met. Many companies across the world have put in place efforts that can help reduce their carbon footprint. One of the first steps in reducing corporate emissions is to quantify current emissions on set parameters and identify the steps required to curb those emissions. This initiative looks at the ways in which corporates can take climate-positive action and mitigate their emissions.
