A Strengthened Compliance Process for India’s Standards and Labeling Programme

The Standards and Labelling programme is a key energy efficiency initiative administered by the Bureau of Energy Efficiency. Currently, there are 21 labelled products, and the adoption of these products has led to significant energy savings so far. State Designated Agencies are mandated to play a key role in the implementation of the Standards and Labelling programme.
