The Rooftop Solar Policy Coalition—consisting of The Nand and Jeet Khemka Foundation, The UK Department for International Development, The Climate Group and Shakti—was formed to support the development and implementation of policies that can rapidly scale up private investment in rooftop solar. This report analyses the rooftop solar sector and makes recommendations to meet India's target of 40 GW rooftop solar capacity by 2022. Specifically, the report recommends measures that can facilitate progress towards this target without any additional subsidies.
