Can’t impose emission tax on airlines, says India

India made it clear that the country would not agree to any move of the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) to propose carbon emission tax on its airlines in the garb of offsetting emission in the aviation sector and said that the global market-based measures must "take care of interests of poor and developing countries".
