36% diesel vehicles exceed national limit for emissions

Study- Smoke-spewing vehicles are largely to blame for the toxic air we breathe. A study has found that 36.3% of the diesel vehicles in the city and 12.6% run on petrol exceed the national limit for vehicular emissions. Diesel and petrol vehicles which are over 15 years old emit more pollutants.
